Internship in Banking Operations Corporate Actions Pre-Processing (6-month fixed-term contract)

Banking Operations is a strategic Avaloq service line providing Banking Operations outsourcing services to banks. We are organized as a global business area running state-of-the art backoffice services with industry leading automation quality and risk standards. We are experts in providing a true value add to our clients and thus always look to add creative and client-oriented personalities with drive and passion to our team. 

The Global CA pre-processing is located in Bioggio and is responsible for the set-up and notification to eligible clients of corporate action events. You will be part of a global department located in 3 different countries (Germany Switzerland and Singapore) responsible for managing Corporate Action business/processes (announcements Instructions and Payments).

Your key tasks

• Analysis of Custodians MT564/568 swift messages
• Set-up of Corporate Actions events
• Notifications in various languages to end-clients of the banks for elective corporate actions events
• Resolution of clients inquiries

Qualifications :

• Economics studies preferably at university level and with a focus in Finance
• Proactive approach towards a highly challenging fast-paced and complex environment
• Good communication and organization skills
• Good team player and positive attitude
• Flexibility and willingness to learn
• English language

It would be a real bonus if you have

• Know-how in the Corporate Actions area (even if only theoretical) is considered as a strong plus
• Knowledge of additional languages (German or French preferably)
