Job Summary
The Business Development Representative is a key member of the Sales and Marketing team. You will play a strategic role in initiating discussions with potential clients through multi-channel activities (cold calling emails LinkedIn) to generate qualified opportunities for Account Managers.
As an autonomous professional you are the initial ambassador of Talans expertise in the market. Your perseverance and active listening skills will transform cold leads into qualified appointments ensuring the continuous growth of our business units.
Your mission involves:
- Lead Qualification
- Work as a gatekeeper between sales & marketing qualifying leads coming from marketing before sending them to your sales counterparts.
- Forefront of Talans website
- As BDR you are the first person prospects engage with when visiting our website. Whether through phone form or webchat you engage with interested prospects qualify and redirect enquiries.
- Business Development
- Conduct multi-channel prospecting activities including cold calls to targeted clients to generate interest in Talans offerings.
- Identify qualify and track sales leads according to established criteria and schedule qualified appointments for Account Managers.
- Operational Excellence and Priority Management
- Maintain a high level of daily and weekly activities to meet and exceed lead generation objectives utilizing available tools.
- Ensure the CRM is kept up-to-date and maintain quality data and provide regular reporting on campaign performance.
- Customer Orientation and Knowledge Sharing
- Adapt messaging and communication based on the interlocutor and strategic information gathered (active listening) to maximize conversion rates.
- Contribute to campaign effectiveness by suggesting innovative ideas and participating in the development of GTM strategies call scripts and email templates.
Objective
Your primary objective is to generate pipe.
Everything you do generates SQLs for the sales team that will then turn into qualified opportunities with a pipe value. Whether through outbound prospection or transforming inbound leads your sole purpose is to generate quality pipe that will evolve into revenue.

Qualifications
Education: BAC4/5 in Business Administration or an equivalent degree - 6 months Internship from September/October 2026
Operational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to manage time and priorities effectively to achieve quantifiable lead generation objectives.
Behavioral Skills: Confidence dynamism perseverance and intellectual curiosity.
Communication: good oral and written communication skills in French and English.
Bonus - Technical Expertise: Proficiency with modern prospecting tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator Zoominfo) and a CRM (Salesforce or equivalent).
