Are you passionate about advancing the next generation of high-speed photonic technologies We are looking for a High-Speed Photonic Technology Engineer to join our innovative R&D team and play a key role in developing cutting-edge semiconductor and photonic devices for tomorrows data communication networks.

In this role you will contribute your expertise in photonics RF design and high-speed data transmission to create technologies that deliver industry-leading performance reliability and cost efficiency. Working in a collaborative international environment you will be involved in every stage of technology development from concept and design through characterization validation and manufacturing transfer.

What Youll Do

As a High-Speed Photonic Technology Engineer you will:

• Drive innovation and contribute to the development of future high-speed communication solutions.
• Design simulate characterize and optimize advanced photonic devices and semiconductor lasers.
• Lead or contribute to R&D projects from early technology development through production transfer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges related to products and manufacturing processes.

What Were Looking For

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Physics Photonics Electrical Engineering Materials Science or a related field or
• Masters degree combined with at least 3 years of relevant industrial or research experience.
• Strong expertise in RF design and simulations high-speed data transmission and photonic technologies.
• Hands-on experience characterizing high-speed photonic devices and semiconductor lasers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the German language.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary R&D environments.
• Experience taking new technologies from concept to manufacturing.
