Job Summary
Our client is a publicly listed international company in the life sciences sector headquartered in the German-speaking part of Switzerland with a global presence across Europe North America and Asia.
We are mandated to recruit a Group Compliance Manager who will lead the development continuous enhancement and effective execution of the global Compliance Management System. This is a hands-on senior role for a practical implementation-oriented professional who not only defines policies and standards but also drives their rollout monitors progress and ensures consistent follow-up across the organisation.
- Maintenance and further development of the Group-wide Compliance Management System and related strategies
- Steering and oversight of the global compliance framework and coordination of compliance initiatives across the Group
- Establishing and leading a framework of local Compliance Champions; coordinating training and supporting Compliance Officers across functions and locations worldwide
- Advising management group functions commercial teams and business units on compliance matters and regulatory requirements (anti-bribery and corruption antitrust fraud prevention conflicts of interest data protection)
- Management and oversight of the centrally managed Compliance Hotline / Speak-Up Channel ensuring confidentiality independence and effective case handling
- Identification and evaluation of compliance risks; monitoring regulatory changes; design and execution of compliance monitoring and auditing activities
- Leading or coordinating internal integrity investigations and ensuring timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs); regular reporting to management
- Design implementation and promotion of mandatory Group-wide compliance training and awareness programmes
- Bachelors degree or higher in Law Business Administration Finance Economics or a related discipline
- 8 years of experience in compliance management within a multinational company
- Hands-on experience implementing compliance programmes governance processes controls and monitoring frameworks
- Experience conducting or coordinating internal investigations and remediation activities in an international environment
- Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence cross-functional and cross-national teams
- High level of integrity resilience and professional judgement; able to operate effectively in a fast-paced international matrix-based environment
- Professional proficiency in English (business language) is a must; any additional language is an asset
