Job Summary
Are you eager to grow your skills while contributing to world-leading science Join the team behind CERNs Identity and Account Management services which enable thousands of scientists and staff to securely access the tools they need every day to push the boundaries of research.
Your role will encompass feature design and development (.NET ReactJS) and service and user support (upgrades advanced integration support business continuity). During the contract you will have the opportunity to grow into a service manager role taking increasing ownership of stakeholder management and contributing to the service roadmap.
The specific services in scope of this role are: Group Management Account Management Digital Resource Eligibility and Lifecycle Management.
Your responsibilities:
- Feature development and bug fixes.
- Contribution to the technical evolution of services.
- Advanced user support including in person consultations with service managers around CERN.
Your profile:
- Experience with full-stack software development ReactJS.
- Experience with version control systems and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience in using OAuth OIDC or SAML protocols.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Openshift or Kubernetes is an advantage.

- Spoken and written English with a commitment to learn French.
Eligibility criteria:
- You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
- By the application deadline you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Computer Science or Equivalent (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is either a Bachelors or Masters degree.
- You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
- Applicants without University degree are not eligible.
- Applicants with a PhD are not eligible.
Additional Information :
Job closing date: 28.09.2026 at 23:59 CEST.
Contract duration: 24 months with a possible extension up to 36 months maximum.
Working hours: 40 hours per week

- Stand-by duty when required by the needs of the Organization.
- Work during nights Sundays and official holidays when required by the needs of the Organization.
