Job Summary

Instructor for French Language

Student: Adult student seeking to learn French

Schedule: One to two lessons per week (60 to 90 minutes)

Length of Contract: up to 100 hours


In STAR7 ( we support our customers throughout the product information and content life cycle. STAR7 started its activity as a Language Service Provider more than 20 years ago and it is still expanding worldwide.


The STAR7 LLC Academy team works with clients such as companies and relocation companies to provide language training for families moving to new countries.


We are currently recruiting a Freelance French Language Instructor to deliver in person lessons to an adult student in Zurich Switzerland. This assignment may also lead to additional opportunities in the future supporting other students (virtual and/or in-person).

Key Responsibilities - in this role you will:


Design and deliver engaging one-to-one lessons tailored to the students level goals and learning style.

Focus on improving the students fluency pronunciation vocabulary and grammar in French.

Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to support continuous improvement.

Encourage active participation and build the students confidence in speaking and understanding French.

Adapt teaching methods and pace based on the students evolving needs.

Maintain clear and professional communication with the student and project manager.



Requirements

Native or near-native proficiency in French.

Proven experience in teaching French as a second language preferably in a one-to-one setting.

Strong knowledge of French grammar pronunciation and usage.

Ability to create engaging and personalized lesson plans.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience flexibility and a student-centered approach.

A degree in French Education Linguistics or a related field is a plus.

TEFL/TESOL certification or equivalent is preferred.
