DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Director HCC EMEA Regional Lead and Compliance Officer forAustria and SwitzerlandlocatedinZug Switzerland.
The Director HCC EMEA Regional Leadis responsible forleading and overseeing the Healthcare Compliance strategy and effective execution of the Compliance Program across the Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region for DePuy Synthes. The EMEA Regional Lead also serves as the Compliance Officer forAustria and Switzerland providing endtoend strategic and operational compliance leadership.
This role partners closely with regional and country commercial medical and functional leaders to enable ethical business growth while ensuring compliance with applicable laws regulations and company policies. This is a highly visible leadership role with broad regional impact offering the opportunity to shape compliance strategy in a complex and diverse regulatory environment while supporting innovation and patient access across Orthopedics.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute the EMEA Healthcare Compliance strategy in alignment with DePuySynthesglobal complianceobjectives.
Serve as a strategic advisor to EMEA senior leaders on compliance risks mitigation strategies and business decisions.
Oversee compliance programs related to commercial medical and customer engagement activities across EMEA markets.
Partner with Legal Medical Affairs Quality Finance and other functions toidentify assess and manage regional compliance risks.
Guideinvestigations issue management and remediation activities in collaboration with Legal and Ethics & Compliance teams.
Ensure effective monitoring auditing and reporting processes to support continuous improvement and risk reduction.
Lead coach and develop a team of HCC professionals across the region fostering a strong culture of integrity and accountability.
Support business transformation initiatives and new market models by embedding compliance into strategic planning and execution.
Qualifications
Education
Required:Bachelors degree in law business healthcare life sciences ora relatedfield.
Preferred:Advanced degree (MBAMastersdegree or Juris Doctor).
Experience and Skills
Required:
Minimum1012 years of progressive experiencein healthcare compliance legal regulatory or risk management roles within life sciences or MedTech.
Demonstrated experience leading healthcare compliance programs across multiple countries or regions.
Strong knowledge of EMEA healthcare laws regulations and industry codes (e.g. EFPIA MedTech Europe).
Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive compliant decisionmaking in complex matrixed organizations.
Experience leading coaching and developing highperforming regional teams.
Strong analytical skills sound judgment and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
Experience supporting Orthopedics or MedTech commercial organizations.
Priorregional or global compliance leadership experience.
Experience working in Switzerland Germany or broader EMEA markets.
Background supporting business transformation divestitures or organizational change.
Professional compliance or legal certification (e.g. CHC).
Other
Language:Fluency inEnglish; German and/oradditionalEuropean languages preferred.
Travel:Up to 2530% international travel within EMEA.
Certifications:Compliance or legalcertificationspreferred.
Drivers License:Valid drivers license where applicable.
