Medicines for Malaria Venture (MMV) is a leading product development partnership (PDP) in the field of antimalarial drug research and development. Its mission is to reduce the burden of malaria in disease-endemic countries by discovering developing and delivering new effective and affordable antimalarial drugs.

This internship is designed as an early-career development opportunity. Working full time alongside experienced professionals the successful candidate will gain practical exposure to global health advocacy stakeholder engagement communications policy influencing event coordination and international partnership management. The role offers a unique opportunity to build professional skills broaden networks and gain insight into how a leading global health organization works to improve access to life-saving malaria medicines.
The intern will support a range of advocacy and external affairs activities while learning how a global health partnership operates. Responsibilities may include:

- Supportotheradvocacyandexternalaffairsactivitiesasrequired.
We are looking for a curious motivated and collaborative recent graduate with a university degree in international relations communications global health development studies public policy or a related field. Strong written and spoken English (working knowledge in French in addition is an asset) good organizational skills attention to detail confidence in using digital tools and a genuine interest in global health and malaria are important. Previous work experience is not required but internships student activities or community engagement in the past are welcomed. We are looking for potential commitment and a willingness to learn.
The internship is based in Geneva Switzerland and paid in line with Genevas minimum wage and applicable employment regulations. MMV will cover relocation travel to Geneva and back provide onboarding and orientation support and assist the selected candidate in identifying accommodation options.
