Technical Writer to a global company in Ludvika

Our client who is a global and world leading actor within their domain strongly believe in the long-term sustainability of HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) technology. This technology facilitates energy transfer with direct current at high voltages making it suitable for transmitting energy over long distances and connecting electricity networks with minimal addition to energy transfer HVDC technology addresses electricity quality issues and contributes to the stabilization of connected power grids. For offshore wind power or long-distance underwater transmissions direct current is the most realistic energy transmission alternative.

On behalf of our client we are looking for an experienced Technical Writer to join their team in Ludvika.

In this role you will be responsible for creating structuring and maintaining technical documentation for complex electrical systems and installations covering everything from high- and low-voltage systems to control systems HMI and related equipment.

You will work closely with system engineers technical specialists and project teams to gather analyze and transform complex technical information into clear accurate and well-structured documentation. The role requires both technical understanding and strong communication skills as you will play an important part in ensuring that technical information is accessible consistent and easy to understand across different engineering projects.

• Create structure and maintain technical documentation for electrical installations systems and engineering solutions

• Gather and interpret technical information in close collaboration with engineers and technical specialists

• Produce user manuals system descriptions technical specifications and other relevant documentation

• Review improve and standardize existing technical documentation to ensure quality accuracy and consistency

• Plan and coordinate documentation activities across multiple engineering projects

• Contribute to improving documentation processes templates and ways of working

We are looking for a structured and communicative person who enjoys combining technical understanding with clear and precise writing. You have a genuine interest in technology and the ability to understand complex technical systems and explain them in a way that is easy for others to understand.

To succeed in this role you are analytical detail-oriented and comfortable working independently. You take initiative manage your own priorities and enjoy collaborating with engineers and technical specialists across different projects. You also take pride in delivering high-quality documentation and contributing to the development of effective ways of working.

• At least 5 years of experience in technical writing or technical documentation

• A university degree Bachelors or higher in a relevant technical field

• Experience documenting complex technical systems or engineering solutions

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

• Experience with electrical systems power systems HVDC technology or industrial installations

• Good communication skills in Swedish

Scope: Full-time

Start date: As agreed

Employment type: In this recruitment process you will initially be employed as a consultant by A-hub and work on assignment at our client. After 12 months the ambition is for you to transition into direct employment with the client.
