Packaging & Hygiene Solutions business unit specializes in innovative solutions that enable customers to create fiber-based products suited for a circular economy and replacing plastics while optimizing resource efficiency product performance and quality. The business unit serves paper board tissue and molded fiber packaging manufacturers across the globe.
This position is based in Sweden. You may work from a home office or in a hybrid model if you are located near one of Kemiras sales offices.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Providing continuous technical support and process optimization for customers across Scandinavia
- Applying application knowledge to solve process challenges and implement new solutions
- Collaborating with sales to identify opportunities for value creation and business growth within Retention Sizing and Strength
- Supporting the execution of strategic growth projects and maintaining high-quality customer service
- Enabling effective knowledge transfer and succession planning within the team
- Strengthening technical coverage across Sweden Norway and Denmark through regular travel and on-site presence
What youll bring to the team:
- Academic background or education in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Strong expertise in Retention Sizing and Strength chemistry supported by 35 years of relevant practical work experience and a deep understanding of customer processes
- Ability to collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to deliver value and optimize processes
- Experience in technical service process optimization application support and laboratory investigations in the fiber-based packaging industry
- Commitment to Kemira Principles: Focus on Growth Deliver Value and Collaborate to Succeed
- Willingness and flexibility to travel in Sweden occasionally in Scandinavia
- Inclusive mindset and openness to learning and knowledge sharing
- Proficiency in Swedish and English

- If the position would be based in Sweden the starting base salary range for this role is between 45 000 - 53 000 SEK per month. Salary ranges may vary depending on location and local market conditions. The actual starting salary will be determined by various factors including but not limited to relevant work experience skills and competencies qualifications and wider business and organizational needs.
