Your crew

A Software Engineer provides expertise and service for embedded processing and payload solutions to development projects and is part of the satellite on-board software development life-cycle. Together you have responsibility for the requirements design implementation verification and documentation.

Your mission

  • Establish a design based on the technical requirements and architectural design.
  • Write and debug C and Assembler code for our target systems (Sparc PowerPC RiSC-V or ARM).
  • Write the technical software documentation and configures all work items.
  • Support meetings with customers and subcontractors and when necessary manage technical issues related to this.
  • Pro-actively collaborates with adjacent System FPGA and HW development teams.
  • Designs all kinds of software unit integration and validation tests at all levels to close requirements.

Your story

Musts:

  • Has good knowledge of real time software design and development and is an advanced programmer in C
  • Has good collaboration skills and is looking for answers and solutions both within and outside the team including other departments companies and suppliers
  • Is creative solution-oriented and open to outside influences with the ability to implement them internally
  • Follows the processes and makes suggestions on how to improve the processes
  • Fluent English

Nice to haves:

  • Is well acquainted with software engineering standards (incl. ECSS) methods processes and tools
  • Is well acquainted with software security aspects
