Job Description

Evam builds mission-critical technology for the people who keep society safe. Our software is used by police ambulance fire & rescue and other public safety organisations to manage complex time-critical operations. Every day Evam supports first responders handling hundreds of thousands of life-threatening incidents.

As a Senior QA Engineer youll be the person who makes sure our platform behaves correctly when it matters most when a dispatcher is coordinating an ongoing incident or when a paramedic is en route to a scene. Youll own the quality strategy across our Spring Boot Kotlin backend and our React TypeScript frontend: from test architecture and automation frameworks to exploratory testing to release confidence.

Were looking for someone who treats quality as a product property not a phase at the end of a sprint. Youll partner closely with developers reading their code pairing on tricky test scenarios and shaping how testability is designed into the system. Youll define what good coverage looks like build the tooling to get there and challenge the team (kindly but firmly) when something isnt ready to ship.

This is a deeply technical role with real autonomy. Youre not just executing test plans youre setting the engineering bar for quality across the team.
