About Float Finance

Float lends to European tech companies without taking equity over 100M deployed to 130 companies since 2022 (including RoomPriceGenie and RedTrack) and were now building full business banking on top of that plus an AI-native financial platform. We closed a 4.5M round in July backed by Chapters Group and were already profitable. Were a small fast-moving team of around ten and we lean heavily on AI tools like Claude and Cursor in our daily work.

About the Position

Youll be part of a small core development team where everything is on the table from designing the data layer to shipping a new frontend. Day to day youll:

• Build across our lending platform our new data platform and our AI-native analyst product

• Move across the stack as needed from data structure and backend logic to frontend in the same day if thats what the problem calls for

• Own integrations with our partners and vendors and build internal tools that help teams like sales self-serve

• Take problems from first line of code to production with real ownership over how you get there

• Work directly with our founders and CTO to decide what gets built and how

We use mainly Python Node and TypeScript but if youre a great developer we care less about which of these youve used before.

We believe you:

• Have experience from an early-stage start-up and appreciate the unpredictability that comes with it

• Have worked across the stack including cloud data platforms and full-stack development

• Thrive when youre allowed to make your own decisions and take full ownership of your work

• Are comfortable moving between problems fast rather than staying in one narrow lane

• Use AI tools like Claude or Cursor at real depth; thats how we work here

Its also nice if you have:

• Fintech background

• Experience with cloud platforms like GCP

• A background from a company thats gone through one or more scaling phases

Process
