Were seeking a highly skilled Firmware Developer to join our collaborative this role you will collaborate closely with our Mechanical and Electrical teams supporting hardware bring-ups validating designs and delivering robust embedded firmware for our products. Your future team

Our Access Control team consists of motivated and humble engineers who thrive in a dynamic agile environment. The team focuses on developing firmware for a range of access control products supporting access control management software that configures monitors and controls our smart and secure systems. Youll have the chance to work on innovative cutting-edge products that enhance video solutions delivering top-notch services to our customers.

As a key member of our team you will play a crucial role in supporting new hardware and feature development for Axis access control solutions enhancing the product for our partners and customers worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Develop test and maintain embedded firmware for our hardware platforms.
• Participate in board bring-up activities including validating prototypes and troubleshooting hardware/firmware interactions.
• Work closely with Mechanical and Electrical engineers to refine system behavior interfaces and performance.
• Assist in defining hardware/firmware requirements test procedures and documentation.
• Participate in design reviews for schematics layouts and embedded architecture.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows tooling and quality processes.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science Mechatronics or a related field.
• Solid experience in embedded C.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers SoCs or RTOS environments.
• Good understanding of schematics datasheets and basic hardware debugging tools (oscilloscope logic analyzer multimeter etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally with hardware teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English and/or Swedish.
