The New Business Intercom HW team is a tight-knit cross-disciplinary group of 21 electronics and mechanics engineers developing Axiss intercom products and this team collaboration across disciplines is not just encouraged its how we work. Youll be part of a group where ideas flow freely where you can make a tangible impact on the products you help create and where your colleagues are eager to solve challenges together.

What youll do here as a Senior Electronics Engineer

As a Senior Electronics Engineer you will take ownership of regulatory aspects of our hardware development from early concept through to a product ready for manufacturing. Your work directly impacts the quality and innovation of the intercom solutions that Axis delivers worldwide.

• Support and set requirements in early project phases: Analyze which product radio and electrical safety certifications are required for new products based on their intended markets and technical specifications.
• Influence the design: Translate certification requirements into concrete design recommendations for the hardware team.
• Be the primary contact for test houses: Plan book and follow up tests with external testing institutes and act as Axiss technical representative.
• Drive the certification work forward: Ensure that all necessary documentation is in place and that the projects certification schedule is maintained.
• Serve as a knowledge bridge: Collaborate closely with other departments at Axis to stay updated on new and changed global standards and disseminate this knowledge within development projects.

Who are we looking for

Were looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative setting and takes initiative to drive things forward. You enjoy working across disciplines sharing knowledge and taking responsibility for your part of the product development journey. Youre proactive results-oriented and motivated by seeing your designs come to life in real products.

What we need you to bring:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with regulatory certification processes such as EMC RED and Safety directives
• Demonstrated experience in working with regulatory test houses when developing hardware products
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• A proactive approach with high initiative and a drive to deliver quality results
• Fluent in English (required for daily work)
• Basic proficiency in Swedish
• Willingness to travel occasionally

Bonus points if you also have:

• Working knowledge of Xpedition (schematic/layout tool) and/or Windchill (PLM)
