Senior Azure NET Engineer

Nordic Investin has been engaged by a partner company to find a Senior Azure NET Engineer. You see Azure as an engineering environment not a collection of boxes to tick.

The partner is building integration heavy services that connect internal workflows customer channels and external platforms. You will design solutions using managed Azure services while keeping security operability and cost in the conversation from the start.

The environment will suit someone who enjoys building systems testing assumptions in code and taking responsibility for production behaviour. Technical choices are expected to be explained in terms of maintainability reliability and the people who use the product.

You will work in short delivery cycles with direct access to product domain and operational colleagues. The partner expects engineers to review designs test assumptions early and follow important changes into production. Decisions should be recorded clearly enough that another engineer can understand the tradeoff months later.

As a senior colleague you will own substantial outcomes and help others make stronger decisions. You are expected to recognise risk early communicate it without drama and move work forward with practical alternatives. The role still includes hands on delivery; seniority here means broader judgement not distance from the work.

• Build modern services in C sharp and current NET versions.

• Design workflows with Azure Functions Service Bus and API Management.

• Create secure integrations across cloud and enterprise systems.

• Model data using relational storage and appropriate Azure services.

• Strengthen automated testing deployment and operational telemetry.

• Translate business processes into maintainable technical solutions.

• Deep commercial experience with C sharp and NET.

• Hands on delivery using Azure integration and compute services.

• Strong API design and asynchronous messaging knowledge.

• Experience with identity secrets and cloud security controls.

• Comfort with infrastructure as code and CI CD.

• Professional English; Swedish is valuable for some partner environments.

• Logic Apps Cosmos DB or Event Grid.

• Liquid XSLT or complex message transformation.

• Supply chain warehouse or regulated enterprise systems.

Your experience may come from a product company consultancy or internal enterprise platform team. You are comfortable crossing the boundary between application code and cloud architecture and you know where managed services help and where they introduce new constraints.

You will have room to influence integration patterns and engineering practices while delivering features that people use. The work suits someone who likes tangible outcomes clean interfaces and cloud solutions that remain understandable after launch.

You do not need every optional technology if your core experience transfers and you can explain how you would close the gap.
