At Odevo we build production-grade AI systems that change how residential living is managed at scale. Our AI Engineering teams are deeply technical highly collaborative and driven by learning. We work agentic-first: AI coding agents are part of how we build and we learn from each other as the tools evolve. This is a backend-heavy engineering role within our AI platform team where you will design build deploy and operate the shared AI services that teams and products across the Odevo group build on. Youll work with peers who care as much about engineering craft as they do about real-world impact - a team that shares knowledge openly and enjoys solving meaningful problems together.

We work on AI systems that make every day work smoother for residents support teams and property managers - always with real users real workflows and clear impact. Below are some of the projects were working on today. Theres plenty still to explore and youll help shape what we take on next.

Document intelligence
We turn unstructured PDFs leases inspection reports and emails into insights that help us deliver faster and more accurate service.

Agentic case management
We are taking our case automation from triage to resolution with AI agents that understand incoming issues find the right information and help our support teams resolve cases faster.

AI-powered customer onboarding
Were making onboarding of new customers faster and smoother by automating how we collect organize and understand the documents and data that come with them.

Internal AI tools
We develop tools used daily across the organizationfor example OdevoGPT our internal AI application where employees can chat with AI work on projects use shared knowledge bases and run code - all with secure access to different AI models. We also run the shared services that support AI use across teams and track usage and costs.

AI-native developer workflows
Youll use the latest coding tools to push the limits of what a development team can get done in a short time.

We work across many products so youll get a broad view rather than one narrow area.

Were a Stockholm-based team that genuinely enjoys being in the office not just to get work done but to bounce ideas brainstorm at the whiteboard and help each other out. Youll step into a friendly social environment where collaboration is part of how we work every day and where we take real pride in building high-quality things together.

You are a skilled backend engineer with strong Python experience. Experience with other languages is also welcome. You have a genuine interest in AI and how it changes both the products we build and the way we work. You already build with coding agents and are comfortable letting them take on larger tasks while you steer and review what they produce.

You take initiative and ownership turning ideas from early exploration to production and are comfortable working across different products and problems. You also help improve how the team works - proposing better approaches trying them out and helping put them into practice. You care about clear maintainable code reliable systems and solid system design with testing quality and security built in from the start.

You share what you learn value good ideas over titles and enjoy working closely with your team.

Its a plus if you have experience with Azure Kubernetes or DevOps and platform work or if you enjoy product thinking and shaping what to build next.
