Release manager

Job Description

• 3 years experience in release and/or project management.
• Good knowledge and practical experience with software development processes
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams toward task completion
• Good relationship management
• Experience in dependency and risk management
• Experience in project planning reporting
• Very proficient in English.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field

Job Responsibilities

As a release manager you will be responsible for

• Detailed Release Planning according to established processes and based on inputs from Customer Project manager Development and QA teams.
• Maintain Project Release Plan to keep it consistent with process changes and ongoing releases.
• Track project execution and open working items issues.
• Prepare status reports and drive regular Release Status Meetings.
• Maintain the project documentation library and document approval flows. Control document quality stakeholders list etc. (Documents are being prepared by respective roles and its content being reviewed by stakeholders)
• Lead and coordinate project team activities
• Maintain risk and issue registers Quality improvement plan.
• Control that team is following the processes.
