Project Manager (R&D)

We are now looking for a Project Manager to join our R&D team in Gothenburg.

About the Role

In the role you will lead complex high-impact development projects within our global R&D this role you will take ownership of end-to-end delivery ensuring projects are executed efficiently meeting quality standards and drive innovation across our product portfolio.

You will play a crucial role in strengthening project management practices and driving continuous improvement while mentoring colleagues and contributing to the development of both products and people.

As a Project Manager (R&D) you will:

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional R&D projects across global teams (R&D Supply Marketing Regulatory & Legal)

• Own end-to-end project delivery ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities

• Ensure compliance with quality regulatory standards and internal development processes

• Identify assess and mitigate project risks and compliance risks proactively

• Plan execute and continuously improve project methodologies and ways of working

• Drive collaboration and knowledge sharing across projects and teams

• Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment across functions and leadership levels

• Deliver clear reporting and strategic recommendations to steering committees

Your Profile

Experience & Background

• Degree (BSc/MSc) in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or related field

• 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Engineering team leader

• Experience from product development of products including electronics mechanics and embedded SW

• Experience from managing cross-functional projects in global environments

• Certification in project management (e.g. PMP) is a plus.

• Experience and interest in project management methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira MS Project PLM/ALM tools)

• Experience and interest in product development processes

• Ability to manage complexity risk and change effectively

• Excellent stakeholder management communication and influencing skills

• Strong collaboration and conflict management capabilities

• Blend of business acumen engineering interest and understanding of project impact on organizational success

• Customer-oriented mindset
