The company is hiring a customer-facing Solution Architect into its Swedish presales team. This is a technical advisory and solution design role sitting at the front of the sales cycle not a delivery or implementation seat. The person owns the technical relationship from first needs analysis through to solution proposal and stays involved after signature to confirm the customer got the value they bought.

The technical center of gravity is networking with security layered on top: network security Zero Trust segmentation and firewalls cloud networking and SASE/SSE. Cisco and Palo Alto Networks are the two vendor platforms that matter most with Cisco Meraki called out specifically.

A Cisco Preferred and Palo Alto Diamond Innovator partner PE-backed and consolidating Europe wants someone who is strong on networks and curious about security to sit in front of Swedens most business-critical customers and design what they should buy with a specialist bench of 1700 behind them and no delivery backlog on their calendar.

What you actually will work with

Identify customers business and technical needs at the front of the cycle

Produce solution architectures recommendations and product/service proposals

Lead technical customer dialogues presentations and workshops

Support tenders larger deals and strategic projects

Follow up delivered solutions to confirm the customer realized the intended value

Contribute to developing offerings and managed services

Represent the company externally customer events seminars market activity

Non-negotiables

A genuine networking foundation routing/switching wireless WAN. This is the floor; everything else is learnable on the job.

Understanding of how networking intersects with security cloud and data center

Demonstrable comfort in front of customers. They must be able to hold a room containing both a skeptical CCIE and a CIO.

The translation instinct: turning technical understanding into a recommendation a customer can act on and a business case they can defend internally.

Swedish language is a must English fluency

Clean background check the final candidate will be background checked.

Deep in at least two of: Cisco enterprise networking/Firewalls Meraki Palo Alto NGFW SASE/SSE segmentation/Zero Trust.
