Junior Operative Purchaser

We are looking for a Junior Operative Purchaser to join a procurement organization within a fast-paced production environment in the Stockholm area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in supply sourcing or operational purchasing who enjoys working closely with suppliers planning teams and project stakeholders.

As an Operative Purchaser you will be responsible for placing purchase orders following up deliveries and ensuring that materials and services are available according to production requirements and project milestones.

The role requires a structured and proactive approach as you will manage several interfaces and need to respond quickly when priorities or delivery conditions change.

• Purchase materials and services based on planned requirements.

• Place and manage purchase orders.

• Expedite orders and follow up deliveries.

• Obtain and follow up cost estimates.

• Manage supplier invoices.

• Provide ongoing feedback and status updates to relevant stakeholders.

• Build and maintain supplier relationships.

• Follow up supplier performance and delivery precision.

• Support optimization of purchasing and material flows.

• Collaborate closely with planning teams and different project functions.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A Bachelors degree or relevant professional experience within supply sourcing or purchasing.

• Previous experience within supply sourcing or operational purchasing is highly advantageous.

• Good understanding of purchasing within a supply chain and production environment.

• Ability to independently follow up suppliers and drive activities to ensure good delivery precision.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• A structured proactive and solution-oriented approach.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing production environment.

You are a team player who takes responsibility acts proactively and maintains focus on delivery and overall objectives.

The position requires successful completion of a security vetting process in accordance with applicable security protection regulations. Depending on the required security classification additional requirements regarding citizenship may apply.
