Interns to M&A Transaction Services (Stockholm) – Spring Fall 2027

In M&A Transaction Services we help our clients in connection to acquisition or sale of companies. Our work includes financial analysis of historical trading and balance sheets and to assess consistency in forecasts compared to historical trends order books and other known factors to get the best possible basis for valuing a business. Our work supports a buyer with relevant knowledge to make a valuation of a business and to understand operational and financial assets and liabilities as well as other risks to be considered in a transaction. Our clients include both domestic and international private equity firms and strategic corporates.

For our M&A Transaction Services department we are looking for students for an approximately 4-month internship starting in January 2027/August 2027.

The internship gives you the opportunity to work as a Consultant together with employees from M&A Transaction Services. The tasks include reviewing financial statements analyzing historical trends and risks to the business as well as providing commercial insights. The work involves both customer work and internal business development projects.

Qualifications :

We are looking for candidates who are:

• Studying business with a focus on accounting and/or finance or other relevant fields of study who will graduate with a masters degree in 2028
• Fluent in Swedish and English in oral and written communication

We expect you to be:

• A team player but also able to work independently and to take ownership of your tasks
• Motivated detail-oriented and open to new challenges
• Analytical to have good interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in the stock market and finance industry
• Flexible in relation to your tasks and have good prioritization skills

Furthermore we appreciate if you have:

• Extracurricular activities such as work been active in student unions or similar next to your studies
• Stress tolerance as we work as advisors in an M&A environment where the pace of work is high
• An interest in marketing activities and sales work
