Were now looking for an experienced Industrial Designer to join our Design team in Hillerstorp.

If youre a hands-on designer who thrives on turning ideas into real products taking ownership from early exploration through development prototyping validation and implementation this is an opportunity to help shape the next generation of Thule products across categories.

As an Industrial Designer youll be part of our Designovation team working across pre-development and product development projects. Youll take an active role throughout the design process from understanding user needs and exploring opportunities to developing testing and implementing final solutions.

Youll use a hands-on user-centered approach to turn insights and product requirements into compelling designs. Through sketching visualization mood boards mock-ups prototypes and 3D CAD youll explore ideas communicate design intent and continuously iterate to create purposeful solutions.

Youll collaborate closely with product managers project leaders engineers CMF specialists and other designers to balance user needs functionality aesthetics manufacturability quality and sustainability. Youll also contribute to and safeguard the Thule Product Identity ensuring that products reflect our brand while allowing for innovation and differentiation.

Youll contribute to developing our design methods and ways of working while staying curious about users trends materials technologies and new opportunities. Youll challenge ideas inspire others and help create products that enable an active life outdoors.

To be successful in this role we believe you have a degree in Industrial design Product design or a related field combined with solid experience in industrial design and product development.

You have a strong understanding of design principles and a developed aesthetic sense with excellent creative problem-solving sketching visualization and prototyping skills. You are hands-on and enjoy taking ideas from early concepts through detailed design and implementation.

You have a good understanding of relevant manufacturing processes and experience with 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks Alias or Rhino as well as common design tools such as Illustrator and Photoshop. You are also comfortable presenting and communicating design intent and building strong arguments for your ideas.

You are creative collaborative and inspiring to others with the ability to work within deadlines and budgets while creating designs that support and strengthen the Thule brand.
