HVAC Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for an HVAC Engineer to join our Sweden factory and support the reliable safe and energy-efficient operation of HVAC and related utility systems.
At Senior Material Europe we manufacture separator film a thin film used in lithium-ion batteries including batteries for electric vehicles. The separator is a key component that helps make lithium-ion batteries safer more durable and more efficient supporting the transition towards a more electrified future.
Our production is modern advanced and operated under controlled cleanroom conditions. The manufacturing process consists of four main process steps where precision stability and quality are essential.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who wants to develop their technical skills through practical experience in a modern industrial environment. You will take part in daily operations maintenance troubleshooting technical modifications and engineering projects with the opportunity to gradually develop into an engineer capable of independently managing HVAC and utility engineering work.
You will work closely with colleagues within engineering maintenance production and other functions as well as external contractors maintenance providers and equipment suppliers.
Be responsible for the daily operation inspection maintenance and troubleshooting of utility systems.
Participate in technical modifications optimisation energy-saving and consumption-reduction projects for HVAC systems and related utility facilities.
Assist in collecting and analysing equipment operating data and contribute to optimising operating conditions.
Participate in scheme development on-site implementation commissioning and acceptance of HVAC equipment and system modification projects.
Assist in coordinating external maintenance providers contractors and equipment suppliers and follow up on on-site issues through to completion.
Maintain and improve HVAC equipment registers technical documentation maintenance standards and related management documents.
Support the operation and engineering projects of other utility disciplines when required.
Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
We are looking for someone with:
A full-time bachelors degree or above in HVAC Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering Energy and Power Engineering or a related field.
Strong professional fundamentals and a genuine interest in developing technical and engineering skills.
Good English communication skills both spoken and written with the ability to communicate about technical matters in an international factory environment.
A strong sense of responsibility and good communication and coordination skills.
The ability to work independently when needed and solve technical problems in an on-site factory environment.
The ability to adapt to hands-on field work and a practical engineering environment.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Experience or an internship in HVAC system design equipment operation and maintenance engineering modifications or a related area.
Familiarity with CAD.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Previous experience from an industrial manufacturing or technical environment.
An interest in energy efficiency system optimisation and continuous improvement.
