Were expanding SCRL from a single product into a cross-platform editing suite that helps creators design collaborate and create content seamlessly across devices. This evolution brings exciting technical and organizational challenges across mobile web and backend systems and as Head of Engineering youll help lead that journey.

As we continue to scale our products and teams were looking for a Head of Engineering who can help raise the bar for execution leadership and technical excellence.

As the Head of Engineering you will manage and lead the engineering team today consisting of 3 teams (iOS Android and web) driving our efforts to deliver best-in-class consumer apps at scale. Your leadership will align your teams work with our product strategy ensuring rapid and efficient progress and results. You will also be responsible for expanding the engineering organization and helping shape our future across web backend and Kotlin Multiplatform technologies.

What you will do

• Lead and manage multiple teams creating a culture of accountability and collaboration.

• Set up hiring processes and lead recruitment of exceptional engineering talent across multiple domains.

• Collaborate closely with product managers and other stakeholders to deliver on growth strategies while aligning priorities and expectations.

• Ensure the scalability reliability and security of our codebases infrastructure and systems.

• Identify and mitigate risks continuously improve workflows and help teams navigate complex challenges.

• Foster a culture of strong technical judgment thoughtful system design and high-quality execution.

• Ensure teams have the resources clarity and support needed to accomplish their goals.

You should have

• Experience leading engineers technical specialists and coaching development teams.

• Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to inspire excellence through collaboration and continuous change.

• A deep understanding of modern software engineering and product development practices.

• A successful track record of responsibility for business-critical products and initiatives.

• Experience hiring developing and supporting engineers and leaders to maximize their growth and impact.
