Are you a front end developer who thrives on solving problems together with others and takes pride in writing code that truly makes a difference Join our Multi Channel Products team at Axis and play a key role in developing the next generation of products innovating for a smarter safer world. This position is based at our headquarters in Lund.

Who is your future team

Your future team is a cross-functional mix of firmware engineers and back-end developers who work closely with UX designers and QA engineers. Together you share one common goal: delivering outstanding products. The team values collaboration across disciplines and everyones ideas matter whether youre exploring a technical solution in an early pre-study or refining a feature for release.

What youll do here as an Experienced Front End Developer

As our new Experienced Front End Developer you will play an important role in bringing our products to life through well-crafted user interfaces. You are not just writing code you are part of innovating for a smarter safer world.

• Write well-designed efficient scalable readable and testable front end code
• Collaborate closely with UX designers to create the best possible user experience
• Co-operate with firmware engineers back-end developers and QA engineers across the full development cycle
• Participate in early feature investigations and pre-studies to evaluate technical solutions
• Contribute to product development targeting Linux-based products
• Take ownership of your deliverables from concept through to completion

You are someone who takes genuine ownership of your work you drive your tasks forward independently and deliver with quality. At the same time you never lose sight of the bigger picture. You understand that great products are built together and you actively contribute to the teams shared goals. You communicate clearly and openly with colleagues across different disciplines whether its discussing a technical approach with a firmware engineer or aligning on a design with a UX designer. When challenges arise you step up with a solution-oriented mindset. You bring positive energy to your team and enjoy being part of a collaborative environment where everyone pulls in the same direction.

Wed love to hear that you have:

• Bachelors or masters degree in a relevant area or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated passion for working in small agile teams
• Solid experience working with TypeScript React GraphQL and Git
• Experience from product development targeting Linux-based products
• Experience collaborating closely with UX designers to create compelling user experiences
• Fluent in English

Bonus points if you also have:

• Working knowledge of urql Fluent UI react-i18next or Griffel
• Familiarity with any combination of Wonka Storybook Playwright or Jest
• Professional proficiency in Swedish
