Join a highly collaborative cross-functional team at the heart of Beyond Gravitys Satellites business. The team works closely with engineering quality procurement suppliers and other functions to ensure reliable and cost-effective component solutions.

You will be part of an international and cross-functional environment where knowledge sharing technical expertise and continuous improvement are highly valued. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of technical topics influence product decisions and work with colleagues across the organisation.

Your mission

  • Select and evaluate EEE components and define appropriate analysis testing methods and standards. Support the resolution of complex component-related issues.
  • Provide technical expertise on EEE component properties technologies and design requirements. Drive component improvements and changes and act as a technical escalation point.
  • Define procurement specifications screening strategies and incoming inspection requirements for EEE components.
  • Monitor component availability obsolescence and alerts. Lead obsolescence management and define appropriate countermeasures.
  • Coordinate with suppliers on technical matters escalations audits and risk assessments. Support supplier selection and ensure compliance with technical requirements and delivery commitments.
  • Lead component inspection planning and coordinate quality control activities with relevant teams.
  • Lead cross-functional technical discussions and resolve integration issues across disciplines.
  • Apply export control requirements and ensure compliance with ITAR EAR EU Dual-Use and related regulations. Maintain required documentation and support audits and regulatory inquiries.
  • Provide technical input to bids proposals quotations and concept development. Assess technical risks and support the definition of feasible solutions.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for products within the discipline. Drive improvements standardization and cost-effective solutions throughout product development and introduction.
  • Own the technical execution budget and schedule of assigned tasks. Manage priorities coordinate activities and support colleagues within the discipline.
  • Lead technical decision-making and solve complex high-impact problems. Apply sound engineering judgement while balancing technical cost schedule and business considerations. Mentor and challenge colleagues in problem solving.


Your story

Musts:

  • M. Sc. Electrical Engineering/Engineering Physics or corresponding relevant level of education/experience
  • Space or Aerospace experience
  • Professional in communication with both internal and external interfaces
  • Profound knowledge of EEE components in the following fields:
  • Understanding of the customer proposal process
  • Understanding of radiation effects on electronic equipment
  • Experience in component construction analysis

Nice to haves:

  • Knowledge of the space industry and market
  • Collaborative and creative mindset
  • Interested in the peripheral aspects of component engineering such as cost analysis and logistics
