Job Summary

The EHS Advisor will support the organisation in maintaining a safe healthy and environmentally responsible workplace. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with legislative requirements promoting a strong safety culture and providing practical EHS guidance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day EHS advice and support to management and employees

Conduct risk assessments site inspections audits and incident investigations

Ensure compliance with EHS legislation standards and company policies

Support environmental compliance waste management and sustainability initiatives

Prepare and deliver EHS training inductions and safety communications

Maintain EHS records reports and KPIs; support audits and regulatory inspections

Promote a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives


Qualifications & Skills

Relevant qualification in Health & Safety Environmental or related discipline (e.g. NEBOSH IOSH QQI Level 6/7 or equivalent)

2 years experience in an EHS or H&S advisory role

Strong knowledge of EHS legislation and best practice

Experience conducting risk assessments audits and incident investigations

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Organised detail-oriented and solutions-focused approach
