The Role
Reporting to the Head of Market andoperatingwithin the Dyson Nordics Retail Team the Direct Retail and Store Operations Manageris responsible forthe performance growth and operational excellence of Dysons direct retail business across the Nordics.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution ensuring our stores deliver exceptional commercial results outstanding customer experiences and operational excellence. The role leads and develops store teams drives retail performance and translates business priorities into effective in-store execution.
As the owner of Dysons direct retail channel the rolealso supports the long-term growth of the business by evaluating expansion opportunities developing business cases for new locations and leading the successful launch of new stores when market conditions align with Dysons growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Retail Performance & Operations
Lead and develop Dysons direct retail stores ensuring alignment with businessobjectivesand achievement of commercial customer experience and operational KPIs.
Drive consistent execution of best-in-class retail standards across all stores including customer service visual merchandising compliance inventory management and brand presentation.
Monitor and analyze retail performanceidentifyingopportunities to improve sales conversion profitability and operational efficiency.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of retail initiatives product launches campaigns and promotions.
Ensure stores operate efficiently safely and in compliance with Dyson policies and procedures.
People Leadership & Capability Building
Lead coach and develop Store Managers and retail teams to create a high-performance culture focused on accountability engagement and continuous improvement.
Build succession plans and support individual development through coaching feedback and targeted learning initiatives.
Partner with the Training Team to ensure teams have the skills knowledge and capabilities needed to meet current and future business requirements.
Retail Strategy & Business Growth
Develop and execute retail strategies that support Dysons commercialobjectivesand long-term market ambitions within the Nordics.
Identifyopportunities to strengthen the direct retail footprint through market analysis performance reviews and consumer insights.
Assess potential expansion opportunities by evaluating market demand commercial viability customer demographics and competitive dynamics.
Build and present business cases for new retail locations andleadthe end-to-end execution of approved store openings.
Ensure all growth initiatives align with Dysons brand positioning customer experience standards and long-term business strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven multi-site retail management experience (5 years) ideally inpremiumconsumer or technology sector.
Strong commercial and analytical skills witha track recordof delivering results.
Hands-on leader withdemonstratedability to inspire and develop teams.
Experience driving in-store campaigns events and activations.
Fluent in a Nordic language and English.
