About the job

You contribute to productprocessand materials development by applying advancedmodelingand simulationexpertise. You independently drive complexmodellingtasks support capability development in R&D and continuously improve methodstoolsand workflows to increase the quality and speed of our deliveries.

Jobresponsibilities

  • Developvalidateand apply advanced numerical models to support R&D decision-making

  • Build and manage data structures for simulation parametersoutputsand metadata

  • Apply methods such as DFT FEM and statisticalmodelingto analyze material behaviorand processes

  • Contribute to digitalization through model integrationautomationand data-driven approaches

  • Collaborate with experts across R&D productionqualityand application

This position is based on-site inVästberga.

Your profile

You have a strong background within materials modeling and simulation and enjoy connecting theory with real-world applications. With a structured and analytical mindsetyourecomfortable working with complex data and advanced numerical methods.

Yourbackgroundincludes:

  • MSc or PhD in Engineering Physics Materials Science Applied Mathematics or similar

  • Strongexpertisein numerical modeling and simulation such as FEM DFT or related methods

  • Experience in statistical analysis data management and handling large datasets

  • Programming skills in tools such as Python SQLMATLABor similar environments

  • Proven ability to connect models with experimental data and physical understanding
