We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team and help shape the future of data and AI at Bokadirekt.
As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for building maintaining and evolving the data platform that powers analytics business intelligence and AI across the company. Youll work at the intersection of data engineering and AI ensuring our data infrastructure is reliable scalable and ready to support everything from reporting and experimentation to LLM-powered features and machine learning pipelines.
You will collaborate closely with product managers software engineers analysts and other stakeholders to create high-quality data products and enable data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. Design build and optimise scalable ELT pipelines that power analytics reporting and AI initiatives across the company
Build a reliable trusted and well-documented source of truth for company KPIs
Work on the integration of AI capabilities into our data infrastructure
Collaborate on the development and deployment of machine learning solutions and AI-powered features
Identify and carry out data platform cost optimization initiatives
Degree in Computer Science Data Science Statistics Physics or related field
Proven experience (4-6 years) as a Data Engineer Data Scientist ML Engineer or AI Engineer ideally in a technology-driven environment
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
Solid data engineering fundamentals with hands-on AI experience
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience with GCP (BigQuery GCS Gemini Agent Platform Looker) Airflow dbt and Cube is a plus. Bonus points for prompt engineering LLM APIs NL querying and RAG
Professional fluency in English
