Were looking for a Data Engineer who enjoys moving fast taking real ownership and building things that actually have an impact. We work from the office because we think it makes us better especially at this stage.

Small team high responsibility

We hire carefully. Were not a company that grows by adding headcount everywhere we grow by keeping the bar high and building a team where every person matters.

This isnt a place where you disappear into a big org. If you join youll have real influence on what we build and how we build it.

What youll do

• Design build and maintain reliable data pipelines that power decisions across the entire company - from raw production data all the way to a clean aggregated warehouse.

• Own our data architecture end-to-end: reason deeply about how data flows where it lives and how it should be modelled for both current and future needs.

• Build and maintain a semantic layer that gives every team a single trusted source of truth for metrics and business definitions.

• Integrate new data sources as we launch products and enter new markets - internal systems third-party providers and everything in between.

• Shape how data is consumed across the org from analysts and product teams to automated and agentic AI systems.

• Drive data governance: define who owns what how quality is ensured and how the org builds trust in its data.

• Push the boundaries of business intelligence - not just connecting the right tools but defining how business intelligence is built and consumed at Anyfin.

AI isnt a side tool here. Its embedded in how we work and increasingly our data infrastructure needs to serve both human and agentic consumers. That changes how you think about pipelines interfaces and data contracts. Part of this role is building for that reality: making sure our data assets are solid enough that both people and systems can rely on them.

Were looking for a data engineer who is curious about that shift and wants to be part of shaping it rather than people who think good engineering means doing everything the hard way.

Youre comfortable with things like:

• Solid Python and SQL skills with the ability to write production-ready code.

• Hands-on experience with Airflow BigQuery and dbt in real production environments.

• Deep expertise in data modelling pipeline design and data warehouse architecture combined with the ability to make sound architectural decisions independently.

• Experience integrating diverse data sources and thinking through the downstream impact on consumers.

• An interest in how business intelligence is evolving and the ambition to help build what comes next.

• Well-established background in data engineering ideally in product-focused start-up or scale-up environments.
