Data Domain Governance and Development Manager

This role drives the adoption of a common data governance and domain model across Inter IKEA Group working closely with our core businesses. That means building the team the ways of working and the stakeholder relationships that make governance genuinely useful not just policy on paper but something that helps people across IIG make better decisions with data. 

More specifically you will: 

• Lead and develop a team focused on domain governance and data management. 
• Establish and evolve ways of working that make data easier to govern trust and reuse. 
• Build understanding engagement and adoption through coaching communication and storytelling. 
• Drive the implementation of a shared domain operating model. 
• Create alignment between business processes data domains and technology capabilities. 
• Help teams solve real business challenges through practical and hands-on data management in close collaboration with our data product teams. 
• Continuously simplify and improve how data is managed across IKEA. 
• Ensure governance enables business outcomes while supporting quality compliance and long-term value. 

Qualifications :

You are an experienced leader who can bring people together around a common vision and turn complex challenges into practical solutions. 

You likely bring: 

• Experience leading data governance data management or domain-driven data initiatives in large organisations. 
• A track record of driving transformation and successfully embedding new ways of working. 
• Strong leadership skills with experience building engaged high-performing teams. 
• The ability to influence stakeholders across business and technology functions. 
• Deep knowledge of data governance lifecycle management quality and accountability. 
• Confidence balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. 
• A passion for simplification continuous improvement and creating real business value through data. 

Most importantly you believe that governance its not an end goal it should help people move faster make better decisions and achieve more together.
