Cooling Technician / Kylmäteknikko

Location:Finland Field based with regular travel across Finland and the wider Nordics region. Overnight stays expected at least 50% of the time.

Schedule:Full-time with participation in a 24/7 on call rotation. After-hours and weekend work may be required at short notice.

Want to work with critical infrastructure and the cooling technology of the future

Were looking for a skilled cooling technician with a background in HVAC refrigeration cooling or thermal management to join our service team in Finland. Youll be responsible for commissioning maintenance component replacements and emergency repairs of Vertivs thermal management products as well as other contracted systems. A key part of the role is providing technical support to customers and internally while building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers sales managers distributors and other stakeholders.

What youll be doing

Your day to day will involve responding professionally and efficiently to all assigned service calls performing planned maintenance commissioning and repairs to a high standard. Youll coordinate with back office and scheduling teams to plan update and close work orders and complete all job documentation accurately and on time. Youll provide technical support and guidance on complex issues build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders and report potential sales or service leads to the relevant department. Youll maintain your company vehicle tools and equipment in proper condition and ensure all activities comply with ISO 9001 ISO 14001 ISO 45001 Vertiv processes and applicable Finnish legislation.

What were looking for

• Tukes approved refrigeration qualification (pätevyystodistus kylmäalalla) or equivalent (mandatory)
• Preferably 5 years experience in a technical service environment working with thermal equipment (HVAC refrigeration cooling chillers or similar)
• Previous field service experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Word Excel Outlook)
• Self starter with strong organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Clean valid driving licence
• Fluent Finnish and English skills both spoken and written

Nice to have

• Data centre experience
• Familiarity with control systems or BMS
• Experience working across multiple Nordic countries
