Job Summary
You will work broadly across cloud infrastructure operations and security combining hands-on responsibility with opportunities to influence technical decisions and improvements. Your work will span Microsoft Azure Intune and Microsoft 365 as well as networking security and the wider IT environment that powers Ongoing.
You will take ownership of business-critical systems and services combining strategic improvements with hands-on technical work to keep them secure reliable and effective.
Headquartered in Gothenburg Ongoing develops a leading cloud-native warehouse management system for logistics-intensive companies from third-party logistics providers to businesses running their own warehouses. Our SaaS platform supports business-critical warehouse operations with real-time inventory control goods management customer communication and advanced analyticshelping customers reduce manual work improve accuracy and gain greater visibility across their supply chains.

For a Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer this means the opportunity to help evolve the secure reliable and scalable technology foundation behind a growing SaaS business work close to both the platform and the wider organisation and make a visible impact as our systems and ways of working continue to develop.
Gain hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure automation and large-scale SaaS operations while working alongside experienced engineers.
The IT Operations & Security team is responsible for ensuring the reliability performance and security of both our internal IT environment and the infrastructure supporting Ongoings Software-as-a-Service. This is an office-first position based at Ongoings office in Gothenburg where close day-to-day collaboration with the team and the wider business is an important part of the role.
As a Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer you will:
Help manage our cloud environment.
Participate in infrastructure projects and operational improvements.
Collaborate closely with colleagues across the organization.
Although the role has a strong focus on Microsoft cloud technologies we expect all team members to contribute broadly across the teams responsibilities and support each other when needed.
Support Azure resources services and automation initiatives.
Administer and develop Microsoft 365 services.
Administer and improve endpoint management through Microsoft Intune.
Improve security governance and operational efficiency across the Microsoft platform.
Maintain and improve internal IT systems and services.
Troubleshoot incidents and technical issues.
Contribute to monitoring maintenance and operational improvements.
Participate in infrastructure projects and technology initiatives.
Document systems processes and technical solutions.
Support the organizations information security initiatives.
Participate in incident response and security investigations.
Help maintain a secure and resilient IT environment.
Contribute to continuous improvement of security processes and controls.
Were looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and experience in several of the following areas:
Microsoft 365 Entra ID Intune and Azure
IT operations infrastructure and systems administration
Windows administration and troubleshooting
Security identity and access management
Technical problem-solving and incident management
You may have gained your expertise through higher education professional certifications hands-on experience or a combination of these. We value practical experience and demonstrated capability as much as formal qualifications.
You should also be:
Comfortable taking ownership and working independently
A collaborative team player who enjoys knowledge sharing
Willing to participate in the teams on-call rotation
Motivated to continuously learn and develop new technical skills
Proficient in English and Swedish
Work alongside experienced colleagues and gain insight into how modern SaaS platforms integrate with customers business-critical systems.
The following experience and skills are considered strong advantages:
Network architecture firewalls VPNs routing and network security
Infrastructure as Code and modern automation practices
Monitoring and observability platforms
Experience working in SaaS or highly available production environments
Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks such as ISO 27001 NIS2 or similar standards
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology Cyber Security Software Engineering or a related field
