AI Platform Product Owner

Join the AI & Exploration Platforms team within Telia Technology and help shape the future of AI platforms across Telia. We are building and operating AI capabilities that drive real business value from large-scale ML platforms to production-ready agentic AI systems serving teams across Sweden Finland Lithuania and Estonia.

We are now looking for a self-motivated and delivery-focused Product Owner to join our growing team. This is a brand-new role within the AI team where you will own the product backlog drive stakeholder alignment and help bring structure and momentum to a highly skilled team of engineers architects and ML specialists.

What youll do:

You will act as the bridge between platform engineering teams and internal users ensuring alignment between technical delivery and business needs across Telias AI platform landscape.

• Own and prioritize the product backlog for AI platform services and infrastructure initiatives

• Drive stakeholder alignment across business units platform teams data scientists and ML engineers

• Facilitate sprint planning prioritization and delivery cadence within a highly technical environment

• Collaborate closely with engineers and architects to ensure platform capabilities evolve according to user and business needs

• Help establish ways of working structure and delivery processes within a fast-evolving AI platform organization

What will help you thrive in this role:

You are proactive structured and comfortable operating in fast-moving technical environments. You enjoy enabling teams to succeed balancing stakeholder needs with delivery priorities and communicating effectively with both technical and business audiences.

• Experience as a Product Owner or similar role within platform infrastructure or technical product environments

• Strong experience in backlog management prioritization and agile delivery practices such as SAFe or similar frameworks

• Ability to manage stakeholders across multiple internal consumer groups and technical teams

• Understanding of AI/ML workflows including platform services model deployment or LLM-based applications

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure environments such as AWS or Azure and Kubernetes-based platforms

• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and software delivery pipelines

Bonus if you also have experience with: AI or data platform teams GenAI or LLM-based platforms platform observability and infrastructure quality practices data governance or security in regulated environments or multi-country platform operations.
