Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Assistant Accountant to support financial operations maintain accurate accounting records assist with financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The role requires strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to managing day-to-day finance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage day-to-day banking transactions.
- Handle correspondence with banks and other financial institutions.
- Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
- Assist in import costing and stock valuation processes.
- Assist in financial auditing processes and liaise with external auditors.
- Maintain and update financial records using ERP systems or accounting software.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience preferably in import Storage Sales & Marketing & After Sales Service sectors.
- Strong expertise in import costing and inventory valuation is essential
- Proven experience in preparing and presenting Management Information Reports (MIRS).
- At least 2 years of experience in an audit firm is essential.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting packages.
