About the opportunity
As an Intern in the Vendor Management Team at N26 you will support the team in managing and improving vendor partnerships that power our banking infrastructure and key operational services. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced regulated environment and contribute to the operational backbone of one of Europes leading digital banks. You will work closely with external providers and internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and contribute to strategic improvement initiatives.
In this role you will
Support the Vendor Management team in daily collaboration with external providers assisting with communication between vendors and internal teams on operational topics.
Help process access requests for external users ensuring the correct tools and permissions are assigned and required checks are completed on time.
Assist in preparing and tracking SLA and KPI reports to monitor vendor performance and support the creation of regular reports on vendor performance and risk indicators (KRIs).
Support compliance activities by helping review documentation and ensuring processes align with internal standards.
Contribute to ongoing process improvements and operational projects including assisting with coordination tasks and exploring new tools and technologies.
Provide support on basic financial tasks including invoices purchase orders and cost tracking
What you need to be successful:
Background:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Business Administration Management Supply Chain Management Economics Finance or a related field.
First experience or academic exposure in vendor account BPO management operations or related areas.
Desired:
Some exposure to the finance or fintech industry through internships projects or studies
Basic knowledge or academic exposure to Generative AI or Machine Learning (ML) is a plus
Interest in Risk & Compliance or regulatory topics
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Organized and detail-oriented approach to work
Eagerness to learn and take ownership of tasks
Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and external vendors
Fluent in English; German is a plus
Basic understanding of process improvement and project management concepts
