The Ritz-Carlton Abama Resort Tenerife is looking for motivated and enthusiastic students to join our team through a 6-month internship opportunity.

We offer internship opportunities across several departments allowing students to gain valuable professional experience within the luxury hospitality industry and develop their skills in an international environment focused on service excellence.

Internship opportunities may be available in the following areas:

• Front Office
• Housekeeping
• Food & Beverage
• Culinary
• Human Resources
• Finance
• Sales & Marketing
• Meetings & Special Events

The specific department and responsibilities will depend on the candidates academic background interests skills and the operational needs of the resort.

As a Trainee at The Ritz-Carlton Abama you will have the opportunity to become part of a professional and multicultural team while gaining hands-on experience in one of the worlds leading luxury hospitality environments.

Depending on your assigned department you may support daily operations departmental projects guest services administrative activities events or other initiatives that contribute to the successful operation of the resort.

Throughout your internship you will work alongside experienced hospitality professionals and have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting the daily activities and operations of your assigned department.
• Assisting with departmental projects and initiatives.
• Providing professional and attentive service to guests where applicable.
• Supporting administrative tasks documentation and departmental organization.
• Collaborating with colleagues and other departments to ensure operational excellence.
• Following The Ritz-Carltons standards policies and procedures.
• Participating in projects designed to improve the guest experience and operational efficiency.
• Developing professional skills relevant to your area of study.
• Maintaining a positive proactive and professional attitude throughout the internship.

Depending on the department you may have the opportunity to develop skills in guest relations hospitality operations food & beverage culinary arts housekeeping human resources finance sales marketing communication administration and event management.

We are looking for motivated responsible and enthusiastic students who are interested in developing their professional experience within the luxury hospitality industry.

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program or an equivalent educational program.
• Internship placement must be mandatory or officially recognized by the university as applicable.
• Availability to complete a 6-month internship.
• Preferred start date: As soon as possible.
• Genuine interest in developing a career within the luxury hospitality industry.
• Fluent Spanish and English language skills.
• Ability to thrive in an international and multicultural environment.
• Professionalism responsibility and strong attention to detail.
• Valid work authorization for Spain.

We offer two compensation options:

• Accommodation provided by the company
• 300 net per month

• No accommodation provided
• 500 net per month

Meals are provided in the employee dining room during working hours only.

Trainees working in administrative departments are not provided with a uniform; professional business attire in accordance with the hotels grooming standards is required.

Laundry service for uniforms is available for applicable departments.

All benefit and bonus programs are subject to the companys individual regulations. Applicable tax and social security laws apply and any required deductions will be managed through payroll adjustments. There is no legal entitlement to such programs and the employer reserves the right to modify the offering at any time.
