Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management: Create and cultivate strong relationships with key clients in thedownstream/corporate energy sector. Act as the main point of contact for key accounts and ensure client satisfaction.
  2. Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for green power and gas products
  3. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing key accounts. Explore potential expansions of product offerings and services to meet client needs such as risk management services.
  4. Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends competitor activities and regulatory changes in the energy industry. Provide insights into market dynamics that may impact sales strategies.
  5. Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for retail and other contractual agreements. Ensure terms are favorable for both the company and the client while considering regulatory compliance and risk management.
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including project development legal finance and technical teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and contracts.
  7. Sales Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance market trends and key account activities (SalesForce CRM). Provide analysis and recommendations for optimizing sales strategies.
  8. Customer Education: Educate clients about the benefits of green power solutions sustainability initiatives and the environmental impact of renewable energy projects.
  9. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by key accounts promptly.Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure effective solutions.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree in business marketing environmental science or a related field.Advanced degree (MBA MSc) is a plus.
  2. Proven experience in key account management sales or business development within the renewable energy sector with a focus on green power products.
  3. Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies market dynamics and sustainability trends.
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to clients.
  5. Self driven with strong team player skills
  6. Customer risk management oriented
  7. Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  9. Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to green power sales and renewable energy projects.
  10. Analytical skills for assessing market trends identifying opportunities and optimizing sales strategies.
  11. Passion for sustainability and a commitment to promoting environmentally friendly energy solutions.
