To help make life easier for our stores the business has implemented an internal Stocktake model whereby the non-perishable counts in stores will be performed by a dedicated central team. The Stocktaking Services model delivers a more efficient and accurate stock count and relieves the pressure on stores to complete this task twice a year. As part of the broader initiative we have created highly focussed and specialised teams to focus exclusively on the way we plan and execute stocktakes across the Supermarket and Liquor businesses.
Reporting to the Stocktaking Field Manager you will be accountable for:
Auditor walk through with StoreManager.
Responsible forteam rosters andteam compliance withEnterprise Agreement (ieensuringallocatedbreaks are taken by team members clock compliance).
Responsible for ensuringthe daily safety routinesare followedSee itCall itCoach it. Responsible for reporting any injuries through the correct process.
Responsible for managingthe IT equipmentis in good working equipment is transported and charged ready for all stocktakes.
Allocatesteam leadtosections of the store and assigns a group of team members to eachteam leader.
Conduct accuracy checksacross all sections of the locations and back of house.
Responsible for organising the stocktake finalisation process investigating any differences in the reporting post count with theassistanceof the team leads.
Supervisionof up to 40team membersper shift
Overseestrong trainingand upskilling of all team leaders and stocktake team members.
Responsible for Safe Work Practise compliance
Performance discussions with all direct reports whererequired
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Proven experience in accurate retail stocktakes
Team Leadership experience including Safety Training Recruitment and Performance Management
Excellent time management planning and scheduling
Exposure to business change or continuous improvement initiatives and accounting or analytical improvement initiatives
Development of performance trackers criteria and monitor progress on key metrics
Development of learning and business improvement programs
The ability to influence and work collaboratively with stakeholders to engage and inform customers and self-manage workload and priorities
Experience in the development of change material
This role will also require frequent travel to various store locations within the Stocktake Market and the successful candidate will be eligible to apply for a Job Required Vehicle (JRV).
