Software Developer – Murex Integration
Job Summary
Role Purpose
We are seeking a Software Developer with strong integration expertise in Capital Markets environments to join a strategic Commodities initiative within Treasury Systems.
This role combines hands-on technical delivery with solid Murex Middle and Back Office knowledge acting as a key interface between Back Office Risk and IT.The successful candidate will support the implementation integration and enhancement of trading and valuation workflows ensuring reliable data flows system interoperability and alignment with business and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain integrations between Front Office systems (primarily Murex) and Back Office platforms.
- Implement and maintain workflow orchestration processes using Camunda.
- Analyze Front-to-Back operational flows across the trade lifecycle.
- Ensure the correct transmission and transformation of data between trading confirmation settlement and accounting systems.
- Participate in the functional and technical analysis of new integrations.
- Collaborate with Front Office Middle Office Back Office and IT teams to troubleshoot issues and improve operational processes.
- Monitor and resolve integration and workflow-related incidents.
- Produce and maintain technical and functional documentation for interfaces and integrations.
- Support testing activities (functional and technical) related to new integrations and system changes.
Qualifications :
Mandatory Requirements:
- 45 years of experience in technology roles within Investment Banking or Capital Markets environments.
- Experience working on integration between Front Office and Back Office systems.
- Experience with Murex or similar trading platforms.
- Advanced English level proficiency
Mandatory Functional Knowledge:
- Trade lifecycle management
- Back Office processes include:
- Trade confirmations
- Settlements
- Reconciliations
- Trade accounting
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Experience with Camunda or similar workflow/orchestration engines.
- Experience integrating systems through:
- APIs
- Messaging platforms
- Middleware or ETL tools
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in Murex implementation or upgrade projects.
- Knowledge of integration architecture in Capital Markets platforms.
- Experience modeling BPMN workflows in Camunda.
- Experience with integration monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Knowledge of financial messaging standards (e.g. SWIFT FIX).
- Desirable Functional Knowledge of: Financial products such as: Derivatives FX Fixed Income Money Market instruments.
- Knowledge of: JSON / XML SQL Experience working with integration architectures in banking environments.
