Service Asset Manager (Configuration, Mobile Estate and Licensing) for NATO with security clearance

Nobody notices a configuration database until it is wrong. Then everybody does.

You would own the record of what actually exists at a multinational defence communications sitein Torrejon de Ardoz just outside Madrid: the network diagrams the rack layouts the mobileestate and the software licences. On-site full time from early November.

What you would be doing

• Building the configuration database for the site and keeping it accurate as things changerather than accurate on the day it was written
• Drawing and revising the network diagrams and rack layouts that sit behind it in Visio
• Holding the mobile estate: the lines the handsets who has what and what is dormant
• Acting as licence manager for the site - what is owned what is deployed what is due
• Keeping the wider documentation set current so the engineers who rely on it can

What you would bring

• Hands-on asset and configuration management in a service environment the ITIL way
• Real fluency in Visio for IT drawings - diagrams and rack layouts you have produced yourself
• Practical experience running software licensing for an organisation
• The discipline to keep a record true when nobody is checking
• Professional English
