The Opportunity

This isnot a traditional Talent Acquisition role. This is ahighimpact intervention role - focused on the most critical ageing complex or stuck positions across EMEA. As part of a SWAT team you will be deployed where the need is greatest:

  • Roles withno pipeline

  • Positions that have beenopen too long

  • Hiring challenges requiringfresh thinking and pace

You will not inherit easy roles. You will be brought in tochange trajectory. This role is forexpert recruiters who see themselves as problemsolvers first and process followers second.

This role is ideal for recruiters who:

  • Lovesourcing and market hunting

  • Get energy fromturning around difficult searches

  • Preferaction over process

  • Are motivated byimpact and visibility

This role can be based anywhere in Europe.
Relocation and visa sponsorship are not available.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Take ownership ofhardtofill ageing and businesscritical roles often requiring immediate intervention.

  • Build pipelines from scratch throughproactive targeted sourcing and direct search.

  • Identifywhy roles are not moving(pipeline role clarity stakeholder alignment market reality) and actively reset the approach.

  • Work at pace tocreate momentum driving roles from stagnation to shortlist.

  • Partner with hiring managers and HR tochallenge assumptions recalibrate expectations and unblock decisionmaking.

  • Operate across multiple roles simultaneously prioritisingimpact over activity.

  • Leverage market intelligence toreshape search strategiesand unlock previously inaccessible talent pools.

  • Collaborate closely with sourcing teams to deliverhighquality readytohire pipelines.

  • Reduce reliance on agencies byowning and delivering sourcing outcomes internally aligned with broader TA sourcing priorities.

  • Drive visible progress on backlog and contribute to improvingspeed and effectiveness of hiring across the region.

  • Act as a catalyst for change influencing how we approach difficult hiring challenges in the future.

Your Background
  • Strong experience acrossin agency (search/headhunting) and inhouse environments

  • A proven track record of delivering onhardtofill or businesscritical roles not just standard hiring

  • A genuine passion forsourcing headhunting and building pipelines from zero

  • The ability to operate at pace and managemultiple complex roles in parallel

  • Confidence to engage and challenge stakeholders tounblock stalled processes

  • Strong judgement in identifying when the issue istalent inflow vs expectations vs process

  • A resilient actionoriented mindset you do not wait for momentum you create it

  • Experience of hiring within the Energy/ Power / Transmission and Distribution sectors.

  • Experience of hiring niche Engineering roles.

  • Strong understanding of EMEA markets with the ability to adapt sourcing strategies accordingly

  • Fluency in English (additional European languages including German Spanish French Italian or Swedish are advantageous)
