Senior Supply Chain Analyst, EU CF S&OP
Job Summary
This is a highly visible position based out of our Barcelona office critical to the companys operations and forward capability as we continue the fast-paced growth and scale-up of our fulfillment network.
The EU CF S&OP team works closely with Amazons Fulfillment Centers (FCs) Transportation Retail and Finance teams orchestrating the upstream and downstream partners to exceed customer expectations while optimizing end-to-end supply chain speed and cost.
Key job responsibilities
- Key member of the CEU S&OP team managing a part of the fulfillment network in Germany Czech Republic Poland France Spain and Italy.
- Work closely with the larger Supply Chain organization in areas including network/topology planning and design capacity planning inventory placement customer experience and backlog management continuously optimizing for customer experience and fulfillment efficiency.
- Integrate known future events and constraint management into a weekly planning process routine.
- Manage operational issues with our fulfillment centers and retail teams resolving operational queries in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Set and deliver country goals relating to forecast accuracy and process timelines.
- Drive CEU S&OP strategic operational (e.g. process tools etc.) and development initiatives.
- Contribute towards the quarterly strategic planning process.
- Present operational and project updates to senior management.
- Bachelors degree
- Knowledge of supply chain management concepts - forecasting planning sourcing optimization and logistics or equivalent
- Experience with MS Office Professional Suite and excellent working knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills attention to detail and effective communication abilities
- Speak write and read fluently in English
- Strong data analysis skills ability to produce interpret and draw conclusions from data
- Organized self-starter and a quick learner
- Must be an independent problem solver that can make high quality judgments and decisions quickly with excellent organization skills
- Excellent written verbal listening communicating and negotiating skills coupled with ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the enterprise is required
- Masters degree in a relevant field
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel SQL Tableau Python
- Previous experience in a similar role / relevant work experience will help you to get started faster but is not a requirement
