Job Summary

Act as the main point of contact for PostgreSQL topics within the Database Services team
Define and improve best-practice configurations for PostgreSQL environments on Azure
Operate support and optimize PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server solutions
Collaborate with Operations Development and Business teams to identify and resolve performance issues
Contribute to database improvements across the full software development lifecycle
Drive monitoring alerting and incident resolution processes to strengthen system stability and performance
Several years of experience managing PostgreSQL environments ideally on Azure
Experience with database performance tuning monitoring and high-availability solutions
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and ideally exposure to other database technologies such as Oracle
Familiarity with DevOps principles automation tools or scripting technologies such as PowerShell
Strong analytical and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
Fluent English skills; ideally you also have a good level of Spanish
