The Senior Fleet Engineer Hub & Mechanical system serves as the technical authority for fleet performance responsible for resolving the most complex mission-critical turbine performance issues. You will lead high-level technical investigations define troubleshooting methodologies and influence the long-term reliability of the turbine fleet Onshore & Offshore. This role operates at the intersection of field operations system design and services acting as the primary subject matter expert for fleet-wide mechanical performance.

Key Responsibilities
- High-Complexity Issue Resolution:Take ownership of the most challenging technical escalations. Provide definitive troubleshooting strategies and engineering solutions that balance immediate resolution with long-term fleet health.
- Systemic Architectural Influence:Evaluate turbine subsystem interactions from a holistic perspective. Provide technical guidance on design modifications or operational changes that impact fleet-wide performance and reliability.
- Advanced Root Cause Analysis T&Ts (RCAs):Lead complex RCAs for systemic fleet issues. Develop and validate hypotheses using data modeling and physical evidence; present findings and mitigation strategies to senior stakeholders and customers.
- Technical Strategy & Methodology:Define and refine the technical standards for troubleshooting and case resolution. Author technical bulletins playbooks and best-practice guides to elevate the technical capabilities of the broader engineering organization.
- Strategic Fleet Oversight:Analyze fleet performance data to forecast reliability trends. Proactively identify emerging risks before they manifest as fleet-wide outages or performance degradation.
- Cross-Functional Technical Leadership:Serve as the lead technical point of contact for Product Engineering and R&D teams ensuring that field performance insights directly inform future turbine design and service offerings.
- Mentorship:Act as a formal mentor for junior and mid-level engineers. Conduct technical peer reviews foster a culture of rigorous problem-solving and share specialized knowledge to build a high-performing technical team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline; Advanced degree (MS/PhD) preferred.
- Strong and proven experience in wind turbine mechanical or structural engineering hub mechanical and structural systems fleet performance or advanced services engineering.
- Solid understanding of wind turbine generator technology GE onshore & offshore and Alstom WTGs.
- Deep expertise in turbine thermodynamics rotor dynamics or thermal-mechanical fatigue and how these factors impact long-term fleet operation.
- Demonstrated mastery in conducting formal Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and applying reliability engineering principles.
- Proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders without direct management authority.
- Ability to translate complex technical data into executive-level recommendations and customer-facing communications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Significant experience with wind turbine onshore & offshore design loads fleet performance monitoring tools and big-data analytics.
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) processes as they relate to wind turbine components life cycle.
- Experience representing the company as a technical lead in customer-facing resolution meetings for high-impact fleet events.
- Published internal/external technical papers or patents related to turbine reliability or mechanical performance.
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional and global environmentremote teams strong team player
