As Senior Data Governance and Compliance Analyst you will report to the Head of Data Governance & Compliance within the Enterprise Data Office at Atradius.
This position supports the implementation of Atradius data governance framework leveraging Informatica IDMC and Microsoft Purview to maintain data integrity cataloguing and compliance with regulations.

As Senior Data Governance and Compliance Analyst your primary goals are:

  • Develop implement and continuously monitor data governance policies and procedures including data privacy security regulatory compliance and responsible AI practices.
  • Ensure compliance with evolving regulations standards and best practices globally.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective implementation of data governance practices across the organization.
  • Define maintain and evolve formal data governance roles (such as Business Domain Manager Data Stewards and Data Custodians) ensuring accountability.
  • Participate in the design and maintenance of the corporate data catalog ensuring assets metadata glossaries and data lineage are accessible traceable and business-relevant.
  • Utilize Informatica IDMC components to:
    - Develop and maintain data quality scorecards and rulesets for critical data elements.
    - Manage and automate data validation workflows and alerting mechanisms based on quality thresholds.
    - Support data profiling lineage mapping and glossary management to increase transparency and traceability.
    - Collaborate with technical teams for integration of IDMC
    - Monitor and optimize metadata ingestion lineage accuracy and policy-based data protection using IDMC APIs and connectors.
  • Support business areas in managing critical data enabling its consistent and purpose-driven use by enforcing data quality standards through defined rules thresholds KPIs/KRIs and automated control mechanisms.
  • Conduct risk assessments DPIAs DTIAs to identify data-related compliance gaps and propose mitigation strategies.


Required qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science data science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience within data management or data governance role.
  • Strong understanding of data governance processes and best practices.
  • Proven experience in leading data management projects to demonstrate trust in data.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organisation.
  • Familiarity with data governance tools and technologies.
  • Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks.
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written.
  • Ability to travel occasionally (<10%).

Required Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Purview for cataloging DLP and retention policies on unstructured data.
  • Knowledge of data governance tools and data quality methodologies.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools.
  • CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) - DAMA Certification.
  • Informatica Certified Professional
  • Microsoft Certified: Purview Compliance & Information Protection Specialist.
