Quality System Manager (Temporary Maternity Cover)
Ecolab is looking for a Quality System Manager to join the Healthcare Europe Quality team on a temporary maternity cover contract (October 2026 June 2027). Reporting to the Quality Director HC Europe this role is responsible for ensuring that Ecolab Deutschland GmbH and Ecolab Europes Quality Management Systems remain compliant with applicable regulations and standards including MDR 2017/745 and ISO 13485:2016 while providing continuity and support across key quality processes.
How youll make an impact:
Manage the Non-Conformity System and CAPA program ensuring actions are prioritized effectively executed and closed on time.
Lead and coordinate the overall audit program including internal supplier and external audits acting as a key contact for auditors notified bodies and regulatory authorities.
Oversee the Legal Manufacturer Change Management (MOC) process.
Engage stakeholders to identify quality system gaps and improvement opportunities while driving visibility through KPIs and action tracking.
Lead Management Review activities and prepare performance reports for the Quality Management System.
Support and coordinate training activities related to Quality Management System requirements and compliance.
Ensure audit readiness and continuity of compliance activities throughout the maternity cover period.
Drive harmonization and continuous improvement initiatives across Healthcare Quality Systems.
Partner closely with Regulatory Affairs Manufacturing Supply Chain Marketing RD&E and other cross-functional teams across Europe.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Chemistry Pharmacy Engineering Food Science Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline.
Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems ISO 13485 ISO 9001 and Medical Device Regulations (MDR).
Lead Auditor or ISO certification training is preferred.
Experience:
5 years of experience working within Quality Management Systems in a regulated industry.
Experience in Medical Devices Healthcare Pharmaceutical Life Sciences or a similar regulated environment.
Experience managing CAPA audits document control and change management processes.
Project management experience is preferred.
Competencies:
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Additional European languages are an advantage.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global organization.
Continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe (up to 20%).
