Banco Santander is looking for a Corporate Banker Large Corporates
Lead client coverage and execution for Large Corporate clients combining strong relationship management with the ability to structure and deliver complex financing solutions. This role requires a hands-on approach to deal execution solid credit understanding and the ability to navigate internal processes efficiently.


Were evolving how we serve our corporate clients through disciplined execution collaboration and a strong focus on delivering results. To succeed in this role you will be responsible for:


Own and develop relationships with Large Corporate clients acting as a trusted partner and understanding their strategic and financing needs.
Drive the execution of complex transactions including syndicated loans bilateral facilities and structured finance solutions.
Coordinate end-to-end deal execution across product specialists risk legal and other internal stakeholders.
Lead internal processes ensuring high-quality materials and alignment with risk frameworks and governance standards.
Evaluate transaction economics including profitability and capital consumption to support decision-making.
Manage multiple transactions simultaneously maintaining control over timelines dependencies and deliverables.
Identify and originate opportunities to deepen client relationships and expand product penetration.
Work seamlessly across geographies and functions

Professional Experience


68 years of experience in corporate banking with a proven track record managing relationships with Large Corporate clients. (Required)

Demonstrated experience in structuring and executing complex financial transactions (e.g. syndicated loans project finance structured lending) with strong technical and analytical capabilities. (Required)

Experience working in cross-functional teams across multiple geographies coordinating with product specialists risk legal and other stakeholders.

Education. (Required)
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Economics or a related field. (Required)
Masters degree in Finance Corporate Finance or related disciplines (Preferred)
Fluency in English and Spanish is (required); additional languages such as French German or Portuguese are (Preferred)

Strong execution mindset and results-oriented approach
Proactive attitude with strong ownership and accountability
Ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and functions
Excellent coordination and collaboration skills
Solid knowledge of corporate banking products (e.g. syndicated loans bilateral facilities structured finance)
Familiarity with internal credit approval processes and risk frameworks
and ability to assess profitability and capital consumption
